2027 Film Submissions

All submissions must have a total runtime of 30 minutes or less, including credits.

Films must be in English or include English subtitles.

Works in progress are accepted. However, the final version of any selected film must be completed and delivered before the festival date.

Filmmakers may submit multiple projects. Each film must be submitted separately and requires its own submission.

Premiere status is not required. However, Austin premieres are encouraged.

If selected, filmmakers must provide a high-quality digital screening file by the festival's stated delivery deadline. We can specify the exact accepted formats once selected.

Official selections will be notified through FilmFreeway. Selected filmmakers must respond promptly to confirm their participation. Failure to respond by the stated confirmation deadline may result in the film's selection being withdrawn.

Submission fees are non-refundable. If a filmmaker chooses to withdraw their film after submitting, the submission fee will not be refunded.
